Splitting the program in to Lightroom and Lightroom Classic is a recipe for the Lightroom Classic owners to get screwed just like the Stand-A-Lone Lightroom users did. Lightroom was always second best to Apple Aperture and it has not become any better. There is always a learning curve with software and I have finally found an image processor that I don't have to relearn every time the developer goes off on a tangent. No hiding updates or keeping what is under development a secret.
